Monica Washburn, R.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., F.N.P.-C.

Monica graduated from the Barnes College of Nursing at UMSL, St. Louis, MO with a MSN in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program after completing the BSN program at Deaconess College of Nursing, St. Louis, MO. The faculty and students at Deaconess recognized her many talents both before and after graduation. She served as President of their Student Nurse Association, and she returned after earning her MSN to join the faculty as the Web-based Academic Advisor. She also taught a portion of the curriculum here. Monica finds her work at the Institute particularly satisfying as it enables her to work closely with patients and their families for an extended period of time.
